The Prime Way is an ongoing program that never ends until you reach your goals! Every new season of group coaching will bring you a new version of the program that is built on top of the last. You will NEVER do the same program or workout twice. This program uses the latest scientific principles of Powerlifting, Bodybuilding & Biomechanics combined with coach Brendan's decade of coaching experience. Along with our advanced programming and video database you gain access to our weekly Q&A! This allows me to oversee your form on a first come first serve basis! Trainees can send 1 video per week for form review and I will analyze it on our Q&A!

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

  • How many days per week is the program?

    The Prime Way is 4 training days per week.

  • How long is the training cycle?

    All group coaching programs are 16 weeks long, spread out into 4 training blocks. Each training block is 4 weeks long. They all build on top of one another.

  • What kind of programming does Prime use?

    We use many forms of periodization and programming however put generally it is a DUP high frequency model with phasic periodization focussed on combining training styles of bodybuilding, powerlifting and functionality. This means you will be training the squat, bench and deadlift frequently, 2-3x per week. You will go through phases where you're focussed on certain adaptations like hypertrophy, work capacity or strength. You will also use what is called Daily Undulating Periodization which means in the microcycle (training week) you train multiple adaptations like hypertrophy, strength and power. Fusion also uses RPE based training as well as other programming modalities of auto regulation, wave loading, deloading and more.

  • How many times per week do I squat, bench and deadlift?

    It changes through the cycle but generally in The Prime Way 2x per week.

  • Does this program peak you out to new 1 rep maxes?

    Yes all the Prime group coaching programs peak you out to a 1rm test even including the Prime program.

  • Can I use the Prime program into a meet?

    You technically could but I would MUCH prefer if you signed up for SBD to run into a meet. I don't recommend meets for beginners without a coach or more experience.

  • Can all members ask questions?

    YES! In previous seasons we had a special package for members to send videos or ask questions. We now offer EVERYONE to send 1 video per week for video review or any question they have.

    Brendan does have limited bandwidth and thus a first come first serve basis goes for the Q&As. If you send your videos in early in a week you have a better chance of having a public form review and questions answered during the Q&A!

  • Who do you recommend The Prime Way program to?

    The Prime Way is aimed at any trainee looking to maximize muscularity, aesthetics and powerlifting specific strength. If you want to increase your squat, bench and deadlift while looking the best you ever have Prime is for you.

  • What if I am injury prone? Is this program safe?

    This is the SAFEST program available because you LEARN from videos exactly what to do. I won't lie, deadlifting is more risky than doing hip thrusts. That's why we created this program to make sure you do them well!

  • Is there a lot of accessory work or is it more minimal purely focussed on strength like other beginner programs?

    WE DO ACCESSORIES BABY! I hate minimalistic programs. They do not work optimally. I created The Prime Way to go against the grain of this bad trend. We empower our athletes through knowledge. Most beginner programs avoid this because they know their trainees won't learn. We change that by ensuring you embark on a journey of knowledge.

  • Is the program customizable?

    There isn't much customization in The Prime Way because beginners can't and shouldn't customize much. I didn't want a program that's FLEXIBLE. I wanted a program that GETS RESULTS! Too much customization just leads to stagnation because beginners aren't experienced enough to warrant that nor know how to properly customize their own programs!
